Tonight I get to accompany the boyfriend to some politics/law mixer… thingie… or what have you. Should be fun, except I never really have much to discuss with Judges, politicians, lawyers, and law students. Actually, I’m not sure what me and the bf ever talk about. Somehow it works, haha. Well, I always get to play dress up for these events, and usually I’m best dressed, next to the guys in custom tailored suits, of course.

Can you please describe your style? I was browsing through your photos and I like it a lot but I can't really define what your look is. Oh and you're hot too! Your bf is so lucky.
I tend to stick to darker colors because they’re easier to dress up and down, and in the field I work in I can usually get away with wearing what I’d wear out to work. Gives me a lot more expendable income to toy with. As for my look, it’s just a weird fusion of things I love and phases I’ve been through, or scenes as the kids call it. What it boils down to is slick chic nerdy nostalgia. I don’t like to label myself.

Working from home today…
which basically translates to a whole lot of tele watching, a 10 mile bike ride, food, and a skype conversation with the boyfriend while he’s at the firm… working(ha, sucker)! Ugh, and then spending one hour trying to complete 8 hours of work so that I don’t have to continue working after 5. This is today’s vent.
